professional boundaries: Lessons will strictly maintain clear, professional boundaries at all times. I will never use improper language, suggestive behaviour, or unnecessary physical contact.

safe space: Every training session is treated as a safe space built on mutual respect and positive, constructive guidance.

your safety and welfare.

speaking up: Your comfort is my priority. If you ever feel uneasy, anxious, or uncomfortable about any aspect of a lesson, you are encouraged to raise it immediately without judgement.

equal respect: Every client is treated with equal value, dignity, and respect, regardless of age, disability, gender assignment, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.

clear communication: Instructions are always delivered in a calm, clear, and supportive manner. I will not shout or make derogative remarks.

my responsibilities.

certified safety: As a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor, I maintain active, up-to-date Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks.

recognise and record: I am trained to remain alert to the indicators of abuse or neglect. If a safeguarding concern arises during our time together, I have a duty to document it accurately.

taking action: I will report any serious well-being or safety concerns to the appropriate professional agencies or emergency services immediately to ensure you receive the right support.
